Kristina is aN award-winning storyteller with a strong passion and appreciation that drives her creativity. 

She is an observer, a people lover and masters her craft through hard work and empathy. Kristina enjoys shooting and editing video and photos, and feature writing that she can supplement with stimulating visual content. Kristina works as the Senior Digital Storyteller for the City of Boston, where she pitches, shoots and edits videos that connect communities and tell the stories of residents within Boston. Kristina's work has gained numerous accolades, including a Gold Telly Award, a Gold AVA Award, and a New England Emmy Award nomination for her work on a short-form documentary called Re-Marking the Boston Marathon.

Kristina also works as a freelancer, where she offers videography and photography packages. She has helped companies develop their brand, shot senior portraits and weddings, and created videos to engage a specific audience. To find out more about Kristina’s packages, connect with her below.

Kristina graduated with her Master of Mass Communication degree from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University in 2017. During her collegiate career, Kristina won a Rocky Mountain Student Production Emmy award, a BEA Award of Excellence, an SPJ regional award and national finalist contention for her work on Manzo, another short-form documentary.

The Cronkite School selected Kristina for one of its two Hearst Award entrant spots for work she did on a long-form multimedia feature story, which also was an SPJ Regional winner and national finalist. 

In the summer of 2016, Kristina was chosen as one of 25 journalism students to travel to Rio de Janeiro to cover the Olympics for a variety of local outlets and client sites. Her broadcast work has appeared on the Cronkite News, Arizona PBS channel 8 newscast, the Pac-12 NetworksFox Sports Arizona, The Kansas City Star and Channel 12 news, the NBC affiliate in the 12th-largest market in the country. Her written work has appeared most notably in the Arizona Republic, on SB Nation, and on Walter Cronkite Sports Network.

Kristina finds great value in creating just for herself as well, and has documented personal videos of her travels.
